General rental conditions
Rental of a sleeping space in the cottage
- GENERAL PROVISIONS
Under no circumstances may the lessee avail himself of any right to remain in the premises upon expiry of the period originally provided for in this contract. The owner reserves the right to remove any personal effects from the tenant from 10am on the date the contract expires. The owner will retain these effects no later than 1 week after which they will be permanently destroyed.
The owner undertakes not to disclose to any third party any information of any kind, on any medium whatsoever, that the tenant has been required to give to him in connection with the performance of this contract.
- USE OF PLACES
The owner will provide the accommodation in accordance with his description and maintain it in service. The tenant will enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and make good use of it, in accordance with the destination of the premises. Upon departure, the tenant undertakes to make the stage cottage as clean as it will have found upon arrival. The rental may not benefit third parties. Sublease is prohibited to the lessee, even on a free basis, on pain of termination of contract; the full amount of the rent remaining acquired or payable to the owner.
- NUMBER OF CURRENT
The number of tenants may under no circumstances exceed the capacity indicated, without the prior written consent of the owner, taking into account the additional charges caused by the change in the number of occupants. A supplement will then be calculated in proportion to the number of persons.
- COMPANY CHAIRS
The tenant undertakes to comply with the maximum number of dogs allowed, indicated on the contract. He is obliged to pay additional fees per day. The owner may refuse certain dogs if they appear to be dangerous or if they disturb other tenants in the lodge.
- RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
The reservation becomes final after receipt by the owner of the signed agreement, accompanied by a deposit of 30% before the date indicated.
The remaining balance will have to be paid 14 days before arrival by cheque to Sabine Dederen.
The cheque may be returned upon payment of the deposit ; it will be cashed only 14 days before arrival.
- Cancellation and amendment
In case of cancellation, the tenant must inform the owner beforehand.
Any cancellation within 14 days of arrival shall entail the full amount of the rental.
The deposit remains permanently acquired from the owner.
Deferral of the reservation is only possible depending on availability.
In the absence of availability on the new desired date, no refund will be made.
- ADDITIONAL COSTS
Fees not included in the rental price (on-site consumption, refuelling, meals not reserved in advance, etc.) will have to be paid the day before departure.
- RIGHT OF RETRACTATION
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, distance sales are normally subject to a withdrawal period of 7 days.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to tourist services (Article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).
As a result, no withdrawal fee applies to reservations made with Chez Sabine.
- INSURANCE
The tenant is required to insure the premises entrusted to him or her. He must therefore check whether his main dwelling contract provides for the resort extension (holiday rental). If not, it is desirable that he informs his insurer. A certificate of insurance will be requested from the owner upon entry into the premises.
